Saakashvili Hails IPAP Implementation

President Mikheil Saakashvili said, on March 14, that the implementation of Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP) of Georgia with NATO is developing successfully. The IPAP, which sets political and military reform targets, is designed to bring Georgia closer to NATO standards.

?Thanks personally to Defense Minister [Irakli Okruashvili], the process of implementation of the program with NATO is developing well,? Saakashvili said while visiting the town of Telavi in eastern Georgia.

?A new staff has come [in the Defense Ministry], which was also a successful process,? he added.
