Saakashvili, Putin Discussed South Ossetia

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili held a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on July 9 and discussed the recent crisis in breakaway South Ossetia.

According to the Russian President?s press office the telephone conversation was held at the request of President Saakashvili.
