U.S. Special Envoy Visits Georgia

U.S. special representative for Eurasian conflicts Steven R. Mann, who is also a Senior Advisor for Caspian Basin Energy Diplomacy, arrived to Georgia on July 15.

He will meet Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania and Security Minister Vano Merabishvili.

It is expected that the situation in Georgia?s breakaway South Ossetia will top the agenda during talks between the U.S. official and the Georgian leadership.
