Georgian Policeman Wounded in South Ossetian Conflict Zone

Reports say one Georgian policeman was wounded in an overnight shootout near the village of Eredvi in the South Ossetian conflict zone. 

The wounded policeman was hospitalized as a result of severe injuries sustained in the shootout.  

Georgian authorities say that the South Ossetian side is trying to provoke the Georgian side into a large-scale armed confrontation in the conflict zone.
