Georgia Simplified Visa Requirements with Russia

Georgia unilaterally simplified visa requirements for Russian citizens after the President Saakashvili?s July 22 decree, the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported on July 29.
 
?Citizens of the Russian Federation will be able to obtain a 14 day visas at the consular visa services at the Tbilisi International Airport, Batumi Airport and the Kazbegi-Zemo Larsi border checkpoints,? the Georgian Foreign Ministry?s statement reads.
 
Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili made an announcement regarding Georgia?s intention to simplify visa requirements on July 2 during his visit to Moscow and expressed hope that the Russian side will respond with reciprocal measures.
