Saakashvili Left for CIS Summit
Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili is in Kazakh capital Astana to participate in the summit of the leaders of Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) on September 16.
It is not known yet, whether he will hold bilateral talks with the Russian President Vladimir Putin during the summit.
Georgian media reported that Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania, who also visits Astana, already met with his Russian counterpart Mikhail Fradkov and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on September 15.
