Georgian Speaker Leaves for Strasbourg to Debate at PACE
Georgian Parliamentary Chairperson Nino Burjanadze left on October 6 for Strasbourg to attend a session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).
On October 7 debates over the current relations between Georgia and Russia are scheduled to take place at PACE. Nino Burjanadze will address the session during these debates.
?We will inform PACE regarding the current problems which we have with Russia. I want to say that our objective criticism of Russian policy does not mean that we do not want to build constructive relations with Russia. But Russia should respond reciprocally and not with double-standard policy,? Nino Burjanadze told reporters late on October 5.
