Norwegian Foreign Minister Visits Georgia

Norwegian Foreign Minister Jan Peterson will pay an official two-day visit to Georgia on October 7-8.

The Minister is planning to hold talks with Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania, Foreign Minister Salome Zourabichvili, as well as with U.S. Ambassador to Georgia Richard Miles and the Ambassadors of the European Union member states to Georgia.

The issues of the relationship between the two countries and the prospects for further cooperation, as well as recent developments in Georgia”s breakaway regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia will all be discussed during the talks.
