GD Recruiting ‘Independent Experts’ for Campaign Platform

Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia, a leading party in the GD ruling coalition, has announced about intention to recruit 60 “independent experts” to draft its campaign platform for next year’s parliamentary elections.
 
Announcement posted by the party on a Georgian job-search website on August 26 requires from applicants, among others, “comprehensive knowledge and objective analysis of political processes in Georgia of last 10 years” and to share values of fundamental human rights, “rule of law, democracy, social solidarity, and irreversibility of Georgia’s western course.”

Applicants, according to the announcement, should not be affiliated to any political party.

Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia party said that recruited experts would draft the part of the campaign platform that would provide “comprehensive and objective analysis” of situation before the 2012 October parliamentary elections and “changes carried out in 2012-2015”.
