US Military Trainers’ Arrival Delayed by the End of April

(Tbilisi, April 3, Civil Georgia) – Georgian Deputy Defense Minister Gela Bezhuashvili told journalist on April 2 that US military instructors will arrive to Georgia by the end of April.

According to the Georgian Defense Ministry US military instructors’ arrival was scheduled by the end of March, but is delayed because of “some formalities.”

US military trainers are to prepare 4 battalions of Georgian Defense Ministry to fight against terrorists hiding in Georgia’s lawless Pankisi gorge.
