Several Parties Demand Election’s Results Cancellation

(Tbilisi, June 3, Civil Georgia) – One of the leaders of the block Traditionalists-Peoples Party Mamuka Giorgadze told the Civil Georgia that his block together with several other parties would appeal Central Election Commission to cancel results of the June 2 local elections.

Giorgadze said that Industrialists, National Movement, Green Party will sign the appeal.

Mikheil Saakashvili, leader of the New National Movement said today at the protest meeting in front of the State Chancellery that he demands to count the votes once again.

According to the Central Election Commission’s preliminary results National Movement and the Labor Party lead the local election.
