Criminal Police Chief Promoted to Deputy Interior Minister
Lieutenant Colonel Vladimer Bortsvadze was appointed as a new Deputy Minister of Interior. Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze already signed the relevant order.
The Ministry told Civil.ge that Lt. Col. Bortsvadze has been appointed to a vacant position, so all other deputies continue to fulfill their duties.
Bortsvadze served on various positions in prosecutor’s office in 2006-2018, and has moved to the Ministry of Interior April 2018, to head the Central Criminal Police Department.
