Naval forces of Georgia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Romania and Russia will conduct military excercises out of Georgian Black Sea port of Poti on October 13-15, Prime News reports.
The militaries of involved countries train to synchronise their activities when assisting civil vessels in naval emergencies. The trainings are held under the auspices of the Black Sea cooperative interaction naval unit BLACKSEAFOR.
Georgia’s Defense Minister David Tevzadze in his opening speech at Poti port on Sunday October 13 welcomed the practice of regular cooperation of the naval forces of the Black Sea basin countries.
