Parliamentary commission supposed to investigate reasons of reduction of the expenditures in the 2001 state budget is established. President Shevardnadze approved the members of the commission today.
Chairman of Tax and Revenue Committee Vitali Xazaradze (the Citizen’s Union faction), leader of the Parliamentary faction New Right Wings Davit Gamkrelidze (opposition), and member of the New Abkhazia-Christian Democrats faction Demur Georkhelidze (opposition) are the commission members.
Parliamentary commission is to name the ministers responsible for making amendments in the 2001 state budget necessary.
According to the amendments passed by the Parliament on October 23, expenditures in the budget of 2001 were reduced with 183 million GEL ($91 million).
