Couple of warplanes Su-25 entered Georgian airspace over Kodori gorge; Abkhazia and bombed Georgian villages Adzgaraza and Ptishi today at 4:00 am, Defense Ministry of Georgia reports.
Later today 6 Su-25 violated Georgian airspace and bombed Marukhi pass, territory in breakaway region of Abkhazia controlled by the Georgian Government.
Defense Ministry has no information about the casualties.
6 helicopters MI – 24 and 4 Su-25 “Frogfoot” attack planes bombed the adjacent areas of Marukhi pass on October 29.
Georgian government regards the bombardments as the violation of Georgia’s sovereignty by Russian Federation.
