Ex-minister of Justice and now MP Mikheil Saakashvili attempts to calm the student protests in front of the Georgian Parliament. Speaking to protesters at 12:05am Saakashvili proposed to students to continue working through their university self-governance agencies in case their future support to the free media will necessary, but cease protests for now to allow for the normal political process.
Saakashvili talk the responsibility for speaking with protesters as the fears for the possible provocations aimed further escalation started to grow. Most political and civil leaders agree that de-escalation is necessary to resolve the political crisis through constitutional transition of power.
