(Tbilisi. January 10. Civil Georgia) – Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomes appointment of representative in the Georgian-Russian joint commission on January 9, which is to investigate bombardments of Georgian territory on November 27 2001.

Russian and Georgian presidents agreed to form a joint commission to investigate an accident on November 30 2001.
Georgian Foreign Affairs Ministry called Russian side for hastening appointment of representative in the joint commission for several times during this period.
“I hope after the appointment of representative in the commission will hasten investigation,” Irakli Menagarishvili, Georgian Foreign Affairs Minister stated on January 10.
