(Tbilisi, March 8, Civil Georgia) – Georgian State Minister Avtandil Jorbenadze stated on March 8 after the meeting with Judy O’Connor, the World Bank South Caucasus Country Unit Director, that Georgia should hasten restructuring governmental institutions.
Judy O’Connor confirmed that the World Bank intends to reduce financial assistance to Georgia by 20% from 2003. Reason is not passing reforms and unsuccessful fight against corruption by the Georgian government.
State Minister Avtandil Jorbenadze claims that the serious staff revision will be passed in the executive government in the nearest months in order to hasten structural and administration reforms.
