Putin Calls for Peaceful Resolution of Georgian-Abkhazian Conflict

(Tbilisi, March 31, Civil Georgia) – Russian President Vladimer Putin called for the preventing military actions in Georgian-Abkhazian conflict zone.

Russian President participated in the meeting of the Armenian, Azerbaijani, Georgian and Russian National Security Council Secretaries meeting on March 30.

Putin said that the breakthrough in the conflict resolution should be made with the document on division of constitutional rights between Sokhumi [breakaway Abkhazian capital] and Tbilisi.

At the meeting security chiefs of the Caucasian countries adopted a statement on the joint fight against the international terrorism, arms and drugs trafficking and dealings, illegal migration.
