(Tbilisi, May 9, Civil.ge) – President Shevardnadze thanked Georgian veterans of the World War II for defeating Fascism, while visiting memorial of victims of war on May 9.
Veterans expressed protest against the hard social and economical conditions and demanded from the President to improve their situation.
Today Georgian veterans celebrated 57th anniversary of defeat of Fascism.
