Decision Making – Main Problem of Georgia, Sir Gary Johnson Says

(Tbilisi, July 3, Civil Georgia) – Chairman of the International Board of Advisors for Security Issues of Georgia Sir Gary Johnson stated at there is “a political will in Georgia. All the senior people in Georgia understand that there has to be reform.”

“I think the difficulty in Georgia is how do you express this political will. Where is the government, which takes the decisions, is it the State Minister, or the National Security Council,” Sir Gary Johnson said, while speaking to the audience at the Georgian Institute for Public Affairs on July 3.

“The President [Shevardnadze] consistently says we are going in Euro-Atlantic way and there should be reforms. I do not think that it is up to President to do the details of that reform,” Sir Gary Johnson said.
