(Tbilisi, Civil Georgia, July 16, 2002) – Chairman of the Council of Europe’s (CoE) Committee of Ministers, the Foreign Minister of Luxembourg Lydie Polfer arrives to Georgia on July 16.
She will meet Georgian President, Parliamentary Chairperson and other Georgian high officials. On July 17 CoE official intends to meet representatives of the local NGOs.
“I am convinced that this visit will allow us to bring up all the vital issues, take a hard look at the most intractable, and pinpoint ways of consolidating the progress we have made and finding answers to the problems which still need solving,” Lydie Polfer stated in her speech at the Parliamentary Assembly session on June 25.
