(Tbilisi, September 12, Civil Georgia) – Leaders of the Parliamentary factions work over the draft of the statement in response to the Russian President’s ultimatum.
Parliamentarians intend to adopt the statement at the session today. The session will renew after the Georgian National Security Council’s meeting is over. As President Shevardnadze said the Council will consider the government’s policy regarding the Putin’s statement.
Vladimir Putin identified Georgia as a source of terrorist threat. He ordered Russian Defense Ministry to outline the plan of preventive strikes against the terrorist harboring in Georgia.
