(Tbilisi, November 20, Civil Georgia) – In Rustavi town, near Tbilisi armed person holds Rustavi police chief, deputy chief and regional police department chief in hostage.
Rustavi 2 TV channel reports that the hostage-taker demands ransom to release Niko Japaridze, Rustavi police chief, Aleko Bukia, chief of the regional police department and Dato Mchedlishvili, Rustavi police deputy chief.
The hostage-taker holds the police officials in the car in one of the districts of Rustavi town.
Reports say that in the morning unknown man took in hostage woman. The police officials offered hostage-taker to free woman and take them in hostage. After the talks, criminal agreed to take police officials in hostage instead of woman.
At the moment police negotiates with the hostage-taker.
