Shevardnadze Left for Prague to Make an Official Bid for NATO Accession

(Tbilisi, November 21, Civil Georgia) – Georgian President Eduard Shevardnadze left for Czech capital Prague this morning to participate in the NATO summit.

In his recent public speeches Shevardnadze confirmed that he would make an official bid for Georgia’s accession in the alliance.

During the visit Georgian President will hold bilateral talks with the US Secretary of State Colin L. Powell, as well as with Azerbaijani and Armenian Presidents.
