(Tbilisi, December 16, 2002. Civil Georgia) – Vice-speaker of the Georgian Parliament Vakhtang Rcheulishvili arrives today in Moscow to participate in the regional conference organized by the Russian Unity party.
This is Rcheulishvili’s first visit to Russia since he was appointed on the post of the Georgian President’s personal representative for the Georgian-Ossetian conflict settlement on December 13.
Rcheulishvili, which is the leader of the Socialist Party of Georgia, calls the authorities for the closer ties with Russia.
