(Tbilisi, January 13, 2003. Civil Georgia) – Georgian State Security Ministry probes the information regarding the possible repair of the Iranian combat jet SU-25 by the Georgian aircraft assembly factory.
Georgian TV company Rustavi 2 reported recently that the Georgian specialists visited Iran in 2002 to agree on repair of the aircraft.
“At the moment we probe the report. That is all I can say right now,” Nika Laliashvili told Civil Georgia on January 13.
