Georgian President Eduard Shevardnadze will leave today for Yalta to participate in the Summit of the leaders of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) on September 18.
As the press service of the Georgian President reports, the participants will discuss prospects for further cooperation.
President Shevardnadze is anticipated to raise the issue of Abkhazian conflict during the Summit.
Later today he will hold meetings with his Armenian and Ukrainian counterparts.
