(Tbilisi, January 20, 2003. Civil Georgia) – Georgian Parliamentary delegation led by Parliamentary Chairperson Nino Burjanadze arrives today in Moscow.
Georgian MPs will meet with the leadership of the Russian Duma Council.
Nino Burjanadze stated at the Parliamentary session on January 18 that situation in Abkhazian would be the top issue discussed during the visit.
Georgia protests against the Russia’s decision to reopen the railway with Abkhazia and granting of the Russian citizenship to the population living in Abkhazia.
Georgian MPs discussed the situation in Abkhazia on January 18. Georgian Parliament evaluated the Russia’s unilateral moves in Abkhazia as annexation.
