(Tbilisi. February 26, 2003. Civil Georgia) – Georgian International Oil Corporation (GIOC) reports that Giorgi Chanturia, President of CIOC holds talks in the US with the high-tech military producing Northrop Grumman Corp. on February 26.
US company will develop aerial surveillance systems for monitoring of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) export pipeline and adjacent areas.
Georgian authorities approved the construction of the BTC, which will carry Azeri oil to the Turkish Mediterranean port of Ceyhan via Georgia, last December.
