(Tbilisi. May 6, 2003. Civil Georgia) – Georgian Security Ministry stated that claims of the French interior minister, regarding possible moving of the Al-Qaeda centers from Afghanistan to Georgia are groundless.
“Currently we can only say that the State Security Ministry and the Georgian law enforcing agencies to everything to prevent penetration of the terrorist to Georgia and particularly to Pankisi gorge” – Nika Laliashvili, spokesman of the Security Ministry told Civil Georgia.
