(Tbilisi, May 21, 2003. Civil Georgia) – Chairman of the Democrats faction Giorgi Baramidze demanded summoning of the government’s representative to the Parliament to give information on the Abkhazian issue.
“The Abkhazian problem can not be solved by a single person. This problem must be solved by the state. I demand that the government provides the Parliament with all open information regarding the Abkhazian conflict resolution process. We must know what is happening in connection with restoration of railway and air communications” – Baramidze said.
Chairman of the session, vice-speaker Gigi Tsereteli supported the demand and stated the government certainly has to update the Parliament on the processes in Abkhazia.
