(Tbilisi, June 21, 2003, Civil Georgia) – Despite the Parliament?s decree adopted five month ago, government refrained to present to the MPs plan of actions on settlement of the Abkhaz conflict and reported to the Parliament on June 20 current information regarding the peace process.
The MPs demanded presence of the entire cabinet at the Parliamentary session, however only State Security, Defense and Special Affairs Minister attended discussion.
Leader of the opposition United Democrats Parliamentary faction Giorgi Baramidze recalled to the MPs those numerous resolutions and decrees adopted by the Parliament regarding Abkhazia, which still remain unfulfilled by the executive government and accused the authorities in ignorance of the Abkhaz issue.
