(Tbilisi, June 26, 2003, Civil Georgia) – Georgian Security Minister Valeri Khaburdzania told the reporters on June 25 “Tbilisi has a theoretical plan of solution of the Abkhaz problem with use of force.” He added that the key plan of the Abkhaz conflict resolution considers peaceful negotiations.
The Minister specified that force will be used in case of “export of terrorism and organized crime from Abkhazia to Georgia”.
Valeri Khaburdzania made a similar statement on June 20, causing protest and alarm of the Abkhaz de facto authorities.
