(Tbilisi, August 11, 2003, Civil Georgia)Georgian Defense Minister Davit Tevzadze did not rule out the possibility of peacekeeper deployment in Afghanistan.
“NATO wants to involve its partner states in Afghanistan peacekeeping operation,” Davit Tevzadze said on August 10 after the talks with the Commander of the US European Command General James L. Jones and Alessandro Minuto-Rizzo, NATO Deputy Secretary General, who paid one-day visit to Georgia on August 10.
