State Minister Avtandil Jorbenadze told reporters today after the meeting with head of Abkhaz government-in-exile Tamaz Nadareishvili that the Georgian authorities will do their best to start discussion of genocide of the Georgian population in Abkhazia in the International Criminal Court (ICC).
Nadareishvili, who has recently joint the presidential-backed election alliance, said ?all the documents are prepared to be submitted to the ICC at Hague regarding Georgia?s appeal on genocide against Georgian population in Abkhazia.?
During the meeting Tamaz Nadareishvili and Avtandil Jorbenadze, who is also one of the leaders of the presidential-backed election bloc, the pre-election campaign of the bloc was also discussed.
Nadareishvili said after the meeting that his addition to the bloc serves to protect the government’s standing on the Abkhaz conflict.
However it might also harden Tbilisi’s approach to talks aimed at resolving the Abkhaz conflict, as Nadareishvili support forceful ways of resolving the conflict.
Nadareishvili said recently that a theme of Abkhazia would be of crucial importance in the election program of the presidential-backed election bloc.
