Breakaway Abkhazia staged a military parade in capital Sukhumi today, marking the 10th anniversary of its independence.
On September 30, 1993, three days later after the Georgian troops were ousted from Sukhumi, breakaway Abkhazia announced independence, which is not internationally recognized.
The delegations of the Krasnodar District of the Russian Federation, as well as representatives of the de facto governments of the breakaway South Ossetia and Nagorno-Karabakh participated in celebrations.
