Parliamentary Faction Leaders Want to Re-Count Votes

(Tbilisi, June 4, Civil Georgia) – MPs today negatively evaluated process of the local elections in Georgia and demanded that to count the votes once again as the elections were held with the total violation of the procedures.

The Parliamentary session on June 4 discussed the June 2 local elections. MPs agreed that the votes should be counted once again and in case the violations would be so vivid that could influence the final results of the locals hold the by-elections.

Gela Kvaratskhelia, from the pro-Presidential Alliance for New Georgia faction demanded that the votes should be counted once again with the group in which all the interested sides will be represented.
