450 OSCE Observers to Monitor the Elections

Julian Peel Yates, head of the OSCE Election Observation Mission in Georgia said that up to 450 observers will monitor November 2 parliamentary elections.

Julian Peel Yates while speaking at the news briefing at the Elections Media Center said the OSCE Election Observation Mission has already visited the Adjara Autonomous Republic to get acquainted with the situation there and decided to dispatch its observers to the region as well.

The mission will make primary assessments on November 3, while final conclusion will be ready in a month after the elections. 

Speaking about the problems regarding the voter lists, Head of the OSCE Election Observation Mission Julian Peel Yates said he is familiar with the ongoing processes, however refrained from commenting this issue.
