Leader of the Burjanadze-Democrats election bloc Zurab Zhvania calls on the opposition parties for cooperation to provide fair parliamentary elections in the country.
?We [Burjanadze-Democrats], the National Movement and the New Rights have a chance to win the election and form the majority in the new parliament. I hope, the opposition will make a wise decision and cooperate to prevent ballot fraud and disorder,? Zurab Zhvania said in the interview with the Georgian daily 24 Saati on October 30.
He expressed readiness for cooperating with any opposition party after winning the seats in the new Parliament.
?We fix our readiness for active and coordinative cooperation with opposition parties. This will create a precondition for reshuffling the present government,? Zhvania added.
Zhvania also said that he does not expect any disorders and destabilization of the situation in the country after the November 2 parliamentary elections.
