Zviad Chokheli, MP candidate in the Nadzaladevi district single-mandate constituency of Tbilisi was attacked on October 29 by unknown persons. He was fired at twice but survived as he was wearing the armored jacket. Later, his car exploded.
The law-enforcement agencies are investigating the case. Zviad Chokheli fails to name possible perpetrators.
Zviad Chokheli said that he was threatened by anonymous phone calls which was the reason of him wearing the armored jacket.
