Around four thousand supporters of the Burjanadze-Democrats opposition bloc gathered in the Philharmonic Hall in the center of Tbilisi to protest against the manipulation of election results.
“We will not step back and will defend our votes. We are not going to be the members of the Parliament, which is not elected by the Georgian people,” Nino Burjanadze, the Parliamentary Chairperson and the leader of Burjanadze-Democrats said today.
The supporters of the Burjanadze-Democrats intend to join the protest rally, which is scheduled today at the Freedom Square in the central Tbilisi, where the supporters of another opposition party – National Movement are gathering.
