“There is only on way out of this standstill: Shevardnadze must resign,” Mikheil Saakashvili said late on November 8, while addressing thousands protesters in front of the Parliament building.
He said that the opposition’s only demand is holding of the new parliamentary elections and resignation of Eduard Shevardnadze.
“We will stay here and continue the protest rally until our demands met,” Mikheil Saakashvili said.
Earlier today National Movement leader Mikheil Saakashvili demanded from the President to recognize victory of the opposition in the November 2 parliamentary elections.
