The Ambassadors of the European Union (EU) Member States in Georgia met today with President Shevardnadze and discussed post-election processes in the country.
The Ambassadors said the only way to defuse tensions is a dialogue between the authorities and the opposition leaders.
U.S. Ambassador to Georgia Richard Miles also met with Shevardnadze on November 11 and expressed support to peaceful settlement of the crisis.
Meanwhile, the opposition’s protest rally continues in front of the Parliament building for already the fifth day, demanding cancellation of the election results and Shevardnadze’s resignation.
