“I think the elections will be held today. According to the information, I have for this morning the voter turnout is high. Still I call on the population to come and cast ballot, as the fate of our country will be solved today,” Nino Burjanadze said after casting ballot in one of the precincts of Tbilisi.
State Minister Zurab Zhvania also expressed hope that the presidential elections will be held in Georgia.
“I hope that Georgian citizens will not be lazy and come to cast ballot. Today we are creating a new history,” Zurab Zhvania stated.
