State Minister Mehmet Aydin pays visit to Georgia on January 12-15. He has already held talks with the Georgian State Minister Zurab Zhvania.
He also will visit Adjarian capital Batumi and meet with the leaders of the Autonomous Republic.
Turkish Anadolu news agency reports quoting Mehmet Aydin that the visit aims at acquainting with the current developments in Georgia.
According to the Turkish State Minister Turkey sent humanitarian aid to Georgia. “They are carried by ninety-seven trucks and forty-three of them have reached Tbilisi. There is serious need for foodstuffs,” he said.
