Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili will leave for Strasbourg today to address the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly during its winter session (26-30 January 2004).
The Council of Europe parliamentarians are due to debate the situation in Georgia.
It is anticipated that Council of Europe Secretary General Walter Schwimmer will arrive in Georgia in late February.
