Election observer organization Fair Elections reported today that the voter lists, which is being computerized, is not double-checked by the election commissions.
The Fair Elections also expressed concern regarding the voter lists in the Adjara Autonomous Republic.
The Adjarian authorities have not yet submitted to the Central Election Commission (CEC) full list of the voters, thus it is impossible to make a double-check.
“We have already submitted one part of lists to the CEC. The remaining part will be submitted by March 4,” Ednar Shamilashvili, chairman of Batumi (Adjarian capital) district election commission, told Civil Georgia on March 3.
The Fair Elections intends to start checking of voter lists in Adjara after it is available.
