Georgia’s Air Space Reportedly Closed

Adjarian leader Aslan Abashidze said at a news briefing in Moscow on March 14 that Georgia’s central authorities closed the country’s air space to prevent his arrival in Georgia.


Georgian Interior Minister Giorgi Baramidze confirmed the report, however did not specified the reasons of closing air space.


Abashidze, who intended to return earlier on March 14 still remains in Moscow, however reports say that he will left for Georgia late on March 14.
