President Saakashvili continued on March 28 election campaigning in the Georgian regions. He was in western Georgian town of Zugdidi and Kutaisi. From Kutaisi he will return to Tbilisi and cast ballot in one of the precincts of the capital city.
According to the election code campaigning on the elections day is prohibited.
“I was advised from legal experts that my visits to region might be considered as an election campaign. But I don’t want the election results to be annulled because of my visits,” Saakashvili told reporters on March 28.
He again called on population for high voter turnout.
